Leveret
This very young wild Brown Hare hardly weaned, has several survival strategies, which it needs at this vulnerable stage of its life -  well camoflauged, low scent, stays still, very alert & has very wide field of view (although to achieve this has poor depth perception) .  Even adult hares are often easy to approach fairly closely when at rest but boy can they go when they make a break being, able to easily outsprint any natural predator.
